mobile detritus began in 1978 as a collection of road debris from my walks around Providence, Rhode Island's industrial streets and has spread to all the cities and states that I have lived and traveled to. The finding and collecting of the cast offs is a daily ritual/compulsion. This project is to reclaim lost remnants as art objects, bringing beauty to the mundane.
